Wilmington Holiday Decor: Festive Opulence with a Fruit and Nut Twist

Andrea's Wilmington Holiday Decor!

Christmas is next week (can you believe it?), and we couldn't be more excited! Today, we're sharing LPI owner and lead designer, Andrea's, holiday decor! Throughout her Wilmington home, we blended the timeless sophistication of chinoiserie with the warmth of seasonal fruits. Pineapples, symbolizing hospitality, take center stage amongst rich, blue velvet ribbon and accents.

Dining Room

The colonial fruit centerpiece includes apples and lemons and mimics a traditional holiday tree. It's nestled on a base of pine and magnolia, adding another festive, organic touch! Glass hurricanes and brass candleholders add to the historic feel.

In the corner, this Christmas tree exudes classic elegance with a modern twist with its luxurious chinoiserie-inspired accents. We love the blue against the lush, green branches. Dried citrus slices and warm, golden lights add a soft glow and natural texture.

Living Room Mantel

In the living room, golden nutcrackers stand as regal guardians, adding a whimsical nod to holiday tradition. Rich greenery drapes above and on the mantel, accented by vibrant clusters of seasonal fruits and nuts. A show-stopping, blue velvet bow anchors the display, tying in perfectly with the blue and gold color palette.

Front Porch

With a hint of what is to come inside, the front porch welcomes guests with stately, golden nutcrackers and della robia (an art style featuring rich displays of fruit!) accented wreaths. The wreath sashes dress the greenery with the same gold and blue velvet used in the home.
